Learn the simple art of traditional cold-process soap making, to create beautiful, natural handmade soaps.
During this busy 3 hour hands-on workshop participants be walked through all the steps of making their own cold-process soap. Workshop cost includes instruction, recipes, and all supplies for your first batch of soap (organic herbs, lye, oils, and pure essential oils). Participants will be asked to bring along a soap mould and old towel to take your soap home.

Simple. Natural. Handmade.
We LOVE making soap! Our natural soaps are handmade with the traditional cold-process method where nutrient-rich oils are blended with distilled water, sodium hydroxide (lye), botanicals and pure essential oils, and then poured into moulds, cut, and allowed to cure for a minimum of 4 weeks.
Ingredients
We use only the finest ingredients, including herbs grown organically in our own gardens and pure essential oils valued for their therapeutic properties. We do not use fragrance/synthetic oils in our soaps. All our soaps start with a base of saponified olive, hemp, coconut, sunflower and soy oils.
We use local ingredients wherever possible, so they don't need to travel so far. This includes hemp oil, beeswax, goatmilk, oats, honey and herbs. Most of our soaps are vegan, but if any bee or dairy products are used these will be clearly labelled. We do not use artificial/synthetic colours or fragrances. All our soaps are gentle on your skin, and fully biodegradable. It is important to note that all handmade soap is long lasting if let to dry completely on a well-draining dish between uses.
Packaging
Our soaps are packaged with a slip of with gorgeous handstamped Japanese paper, a label printed on recycled paper, and tied with hemp twine.
Please note that we are a small business and so do not always have all varieties of soap in stock. If bars are still curing your order may take several weeks before it's ready. We will clearly communicate when you can expect your soap at time of your purchase.
Wedding Favour Soaps!
Now our fine handmade soaps are available to your wedding guests in wedding favour size. Your soaps are made to order with scent and botanicals of your choice. We wrap each soap in a custom-printed black and white label at no additional cost. You can choose to tie on a ribbon or wraphia to match your wedding decor. Specify your soap selection from our list below, or inquire if you have a special scent that's not listed. Unscented soaps also available.
Wedding favour soaps are $1.50 each, with minimum of 25 soaps per scent selection. Minimum order is 50 guest bars. They are an ideal size for sink, bath or shower at 25-30 grams (aprox. handcut size).
*NOTE* Please allow a minimum of 6-8 weeks for delivery (including consultation time, production, 3 weeks curing, and shipping).
