Herbs - Comfrey
Herbs - Comfrey (Symphytum officinale)
About: Comfrey is a wonderful addition to the garden. It needs a sunny area where it can spread into a lush patch. Bees adore comfrey flowers, and the leaves can be used to make compost and "compost tea" that is nutrient-rich to feed your garden soil. Comfrey leaves have been used traditionally in salves and poultices to heal broken bones, sprains and strains, as well as skin rashes and inflammation.
Comes in a compostable pot, hardened off and ready to plant. Grown with organic seed and organic soil.
LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY at Little City Farm- seedlings will be available Sat, May 25 or otherwise by appointment.
