Broccoli - Purple Sprouting Broccoli (Red Spear)

About:

Leave some space in your garden for this extremely cold-hardy biennial plant. Purple Sprouting Broccoli does not produce one large broccoli head, but rather produces gorgeous small, sweet, purple flowering shoots in the late winter and early spring (Jan to May of the next year). The tall plants are very generous with small side-shoots for many weeks with continuous harvesting.

Instructions: This plant matures in 7 months.Plant seedlings of Purple Sprouting Broccoli into your garden in late May or early June. Leave the plants in your garden all season and do not pull out at the end of this season. You will get purple sprouts and shoots in the late winter and early spring!

Comes in a compostable pot, hardened off and ready to plant. Grown with organic seed and organic soil.

Curbside pick-up at Little City Farm. We will email you with pick-up dates.
